1 Day Itinerary
After breakfast at 8h30 AM we will pick you up from your accomodation and then travel to Meknes which is situated roughly 60 km west of Fez, the imperial city of Meknes is another Moroccan treasure that is well worth visiting. It is one of Morocco's four Imperial Cities, is home to a remarkable array of old buildings, including the Bou Inania Madrasa and the Dar Jamai Museum.
And one of Morocco's most exquisite gates, Bab Mansour, It is decorated with Zellij and intricate geometric patterns and the mini-square of El Hedim. After discovering the city, Drive to the ruins of Volubilis, an ancient Roman city from the third century BC, located about 26 km north of Meknes. Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring triumphal arches, basilicas, and well-preserved mosaics, and later enjoying the panoramic view of Moulay Idriss Zerhoun town. Return back to Fez, arrive at your Riad in the evening. the end of your day trip.
